Local 154 Scholarship Program 2007 Winners

      At a random selection during the September 2007 General Membership Meeting, the members of Local 154 selected Justin Wilcox and Brady Rosen as the new winners of the Local 154 Scholarship Program Award. Justin and Brady are the children of members Barbara Sullins-Wilcox and Jeffrey Rosen respectively. The awards of $500 each were distributed at the 2007 Local 154 Holiday Party.

      Local 154 created its scholarship program in 2003. The theme of this program is "members helping members." By dedicating one dollar or less per member per year we are able to help a member's child with his or her books or tuition in the pursuit of a technical or a college program. That's a great way of building union solidarity. In this way we contribute to our children's future. Justin and Brady are the winners of the 2008 Awards. Congratulations to the winners and their parents. Thanks to all of our members for this important effort.
